Our approach
Therapy at EB Speech Pathology is person-centred, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming, tailored to understand each child or adolescent's individual needs. Sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and meaningful, with the philosophy that real progress happens when children enjoy the process. The therapist works across a range of communication areas including language, literacy, speech sounds, social communication, and AAC, and brings additional training in evidence-based approaches such as Hanen strategies, Lidcombe Program, PECS, and minimal pairs therapy. Sessions are flexible and delivered either through mobile visits to your home, school, kindergarten, or community setting, or via telehealth, depending on what works best for your family.
Working with families
EB Speech Pathology prioritises close communication and partnership with parents and carers throughout your child's therapy journey. The therapist is easy to reach by phone, text, or email, and is responsive to your questions and concerns. Family involvement is central to the approach, with therapy delivered flexibly in settings that matter to your family—whether that's your home, your child's school, or local community spaces—recognising that real progress happens when learning extends beyond the clinic. By bringing therapy into your everyday environments, the therapist can work alongside you to support your child's communication in the contexts where it matters most.
