Your first visit
At an initial appointment, Dr Adeline assesses whether she is the right therapist for you and whether you are a suitable fit for her practice. She invites prospective clients to call her for a brief 5–10 minute conversation before booking an appointment to discuss your needs and confirm you are within her scope of practice. The initial appointment itself functions as a mutual exploration to determine if you are ready and willing to commit to longer-term therapy (typically weekly or fortnightly for at least 12 months or longer), and whether she can best support your goals. For clients interested in more intensive treatment, she also discusses suitability for EMDR Intensive Programs, which she usually offers four intakes per year.
