Our approach
Confidence 121 uses multi-sensory maths tuition, which involves students working with a wide range of manipulatives and practical equipment to create meaning and understanding of mathematical concepts. Sessions are personalised to focus on the specific areas where your child struggles, building strong foundations and secure basic skills at their own pace. The approach emphasises creating calm, safe learning spaces where relationships are built on respect, trust and honesty. Rather than just teaching maths, the service includes coaching and mentoring to help students recognise and celebrate their success, which is especially important for children with dyscalculia, maths anxiety or low confidence in maths. The teaching is based on current research and delivered by a passionate, highly qualified teacher who helps children understand that good effort will result in mathematical progress and achievement.
