Our approach
Therapy focuses on evidence-based, personalised care tailored to each child's needs, with therapists skilled at breaking goals into achievable tasks and teaching in different ways to ensure consistent progress. Sessions are fun and innovative, with therapists skilled at getting the best out of each child using fully-equipped therapy rooms and resources. The service emphasises a neurodiversity-affirming approach, supporting children's differences as strengths rather than deficits, and working alongside them to support their goals and ways of engaging with the world. Children experience success every step of the way while developing essential skills in a respectful, engaging environment.
Working with families
Families are central to the therapy process, with the service emphasising partnership and communication. Parents receive strategies and support designed to equip them with approaches that feel respectful, useful, and affirming of their child's identity. The team listens to families, involves them in goal-setting, and partners with parents so they feel confident and empowered in supporting their child's development at home and in the community.
Your first visit
The first step is a Screening and Assessment check, which provides a clear outline of your child's strengths and areas where support can help them grow. This assessment establishes where your child is starting from in order to develop the best therapy plan for their individual needs. Once the assessment is complete and therapy is needed, families can choose whether they prefer in-person clinic sessions or online services, whichever is most convenient for their family.
