• Our approach

  Isabella believes therapy should be a fun, positive and rewarding experience delivered with flexibility in clinic, early childhood, school and home environments. She values understanding each child and working in partnership with families and their wider multidisciplinary team. She is passionate about delivering considered therapy that is tailored to individual needs. Sessions are offered in a range of settings based on what works best for each family. Be Me Speech Pathology is a family-centred service, which means parents and carers are partners in the therapy process.

  Be Me Speech Pathology is described as family-centred, and Isabella values working in partnership with families. She is experienced in supporting children and their families and believes in collaborative practice. At the first point of contact, parents provide information about their child and their goals, which shapes the assessment and therapy direction. The service offers flexibility in session locations including home environments, recognising that families have different needs and circumstances.

• Meet the team

  Isabella Arthur is a Speech Pathologist who founded Be Me Speech Pathology. She graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2003 and has over 10 years of experience in paediatric speech pathology working in private practice. She holds certification from Speech Pathology Australia as a certified practicing Speech Pathologist and has specialised training in the Hanen programs ('It Takes Two To Talk' and 'More Than Words'), the Lidcombe Program for Stuttering, and treatment of complex speech presentations. She has extensive experience supporting neurodiverse children and their families.
