• Our approach

  Allsorts takes a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to supporting children's development, bringing together speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and therapy assistants under one roof. Therapists are specifically trained to identify patterns and behaviour in early infancy and childhood that predict outcomes for later in life, working closely with parents and carers to discover each child's unique and achievable pathways to happiness. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and may take place in the clinic or within community settings like schools and daycare centres. The service offers a range of therapy options including individual sessions, intensive programs where children are seen more frequently over shorter periods to target specific skills, and group programs facilitated by therapists or therapy assistants. Whether delivered in clinical or educational environments, sessions focus on building the child's independence, confidence and overall wellbeing.

• Working with families

  Allsorts works closely with parents and carers as central partners in therapy, aiming to discover each child's unique and achievable pathways to happiness together. The team communicates with schools, kindergartens and daycare centres where children receive services, providing education and training for staff in those settings. Parents and carers are involved in developing specific functional goals during multidisciplinary intensives and in group programs. The practice accepts a range of funding options (NDIS, private health insurance and primary care plans), and parents can contact the administration team for pricing guides and to discuss their individual circumstances.

• Meet the team

  The team comprises three Speech Pathology Directors (Debra Bramhall, Lucy Mitford, and Gabi Rose), one Occupational Therapy Director (Kristie Moss), two Physiotherapists (Tahlia Blanchfield and Ainsley Wyeth), and additional qualified staff including seven speech pathologists, four occupational therapists, and four therapy assistants across the Rockhampton and Yeppoon locations. One therapy assistant also provides nutrition support. The team works collaboratively as a multidisciplinary clinic, with therapists trained to identify developmental patterns that predict later outcomes. Therapy assistants support the lead therapists in delivering services, and the practice is led by experienced directors in their respective disciplines.
