The practice is a referral partner of SPELD NSW with specific training in evidence-based literacy programs.
Your first visit
The first step is a free 15-minute phone consultation where you can discuss your child's needs and determine if speech therapy is appropriate. This is followed by a formal assessment session with one of the qualified speech pathologists, which usually lasts 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your child's needs. During the assessment, the therapist will investigate your child's strengths and areas of opportunity to establish a baseline from which progress can be measured. Once the assessment is complete and therapy is deemed appropriate, weekly session times will be scheduled with your treating speech pathologist.
