Since 2001, Adelaide Speech Pathology Services has strived to help children & adults with spoken & written communication difficulties to reach their potential. Our experienced, passionate team of speech & language pathologists provide services in a friendly, comfortable and relaxed environment.   • Our approach

    The clinic provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children with communication, speech, language and literacy difficulties in a friendly, comfortable and relaxed environment. Sessions use research-based, evidence-informed approaches tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. The team draws on a range of specialised programs and teaching tools such as Sounds-Write, MultiLit, Little Learners Love Literacy, and ReadingDoctor® Software. Clinicians are trained in modern literacy science and use warm, sensitive methods that build on children's strengths to make learning engaging and confidence-boosting. The goal is to help children reach their communication potential through individualised, best-fit intervention plans.

  • Meet the team

    The team comprises four qualified speech and language pathologists with extensive experience. Director Dr Bartek Rajkowski (B App Sc, PhD, MSPA, CPS) specialises in research-based assessment and remediation of reading and literacy difficulties and is the creator of ReadingDoctor® Software. Jayne Ayliffe (BSpPath, BSW, MSPA, CPS) brings over 20 years' experience in higher education supporting students with learning disabilities and autism, with training in phonics and literacy support tools. Suzanne Smith (BSpPath, BBehavSc Psychology, MSPA, CPS) graduated in 2015 and has deep expertise in dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety and literacy difficulties, drawing on extensive training in the science of reading. Bianca Starachowicz (BSpPath, MSPA, CPS) graduated in 2014 and specialises in complex communication needs, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and working with children with autism and developmental differences.
