  • Our approach

Paediatric physiotherapists at this practice work with expertise in anatomy, physiology and child development to assess and treat children with various health conditions. Sessions focus on supporting children and their families to achieve meaningful goals in everyday life. The physiotherapists create playful and engaging sessions that encourage children to explore movement, develop strength and coordination, and gain confidence in their abilities. Therapy works best when children feel comfortable, supported and able to learn through play, with practitioners celebrating every small success along the journey. Services include treatment for musculoskeletal pain, orthopaedic issues, post-surgery rehabilitation, developmental challenges, gross motor and coordination issues, and conditions like autism and cerebral palsy.

  • Meet the team

The physiotherapy team comprises six independent consulting physiotherapists with varying qualifications and experience. Michael Brockbank has 18 years' experience working with children across public, private and community settings, with particular expertise in paediatric orthopaedics and rehabilitation. Melanie Jeffries brings over a decade of experience in both sectors with extensive aquatic therapy training and a passion for infant neurodevelopment and gross motor development. Chelsea Marchetti holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours, autism swim accreditation and strength and conditioning qualifications. Christine Poon is a Bachelor of Applied Science graduate with first class honours who specialises in creating playful, engaging sessions and speaks multiple languages. Anna Cross and Georgie Leov also consult in the practice, with Georgie specialising in hydrotherapy.
