Our approach
The Transformation Program uses one-to-one tutoring sessions delivered at home by Academic Personal Trainers (APTs), blending tutoring, mentoring, and academic strategy. The approach is grounded in cognitive science and psychology, focusing on building self-belief, teaching study strategies through "Teachable Moments," and providing foundational subject-specific tutoring tailored to each child's unique learning style. Rather than rote learning, sessions emphasize helping students become lifelong learners by addressing emotional barriers to learning and developing positive study habits that encourage independent thinking.
Meet the team
The tutoring team consists of Academic Personal Trainers (APTs) who are employed and managed directly by the company after passing rigorous recruitment, training and onboarding, plus WWCC and Police checks. The organization handpicks APTs based on values and mentoring abilities, rejecting 94% of applicants who may have strong grades but lack the ability to inspire students. A Leadership Team provides support to APTs, families and schools, with headquarters on the Gold Coast but availability across Australia. All APTs undergo on-the-job training and are assigned a Success Manager for unlimited support.
